First Merit Bank is an Akron, OH based company which entered the Toledo market in 2004. Their first location in Downtown Toledo includes 5,000 SF of bank area on the first floor of a 2-story building with classical features. The interior design is a contemporary presence which appreciates and acknowledges the decorative columns, column capitals, decorative beams and crown moldings of the host building.

First Merit's second location is in Sylvania, an affluent Toledo suburb to the west. This one story, 4,250 SF brick building is accented with cast stone trim, capped with dimensional, architectural roof shingles and includes drive-thru service. The interior design features high quality finishes in keeping with their corporate identity.
