The new 625 bed Residence Hall integrated into the fabric of the UT campus includes the amenities that students find in off-campus facilities, has a high level of quality, and provides a safe, exciting environment in which to live. Two-story lounge/study rooms interplay within its 5 stories, providing students’ views above and below, allowing them to sense the activity around them. The dining area is presented in a marché concept with a curving flow from the pizza/Italian oven area to the carvery/delicatessen, comfort favorites and grille offerings to the island of salads/desserts/soups. At night, the stair towers become beacons of light and safety as occupants can be seen from the surrounding courtyard, walkways and streets.
